Please make sure that you’ve entered the fields correctly and that there are no spaces or special characters in or at the end of your name and your date of birth is no lower than 1920.

If you want to change your character's look you can visit our plastic surgeon. Its located at Mount Zonah, at postal 7274.

We have many clothing stores around the city. Look for a clothing marker on the map. Here you can change your clothes and save the outfit. Make sure you have at least $25 in your pocket.

Go into your FiveM Settings under "Voice Chat" and check to see you if this is on. Ensure that you have the correct sound input for your microphone and output for your headset/ speakers. You may have to restart FiveM if you make any changes. Sometimes turning your voice chat off and on can also fix this as well as talking on the radio.

Adjusting your extended texture budget can help with missing textures. Go to your settings>graphics>extended texture budget.

Clearing the FiveM cache is basically deleting certain file folders. This is a simple step that most of us are familiar with. However, the difficult part here is locating those folders, which is completely hidden after you install FiveM.

1. First close FiveM
2. To find the FiveM data folder, right-click the FiveM icon on your desktop
3. select “Properties”
4. select “Open File Location”
5. At the FiveM folder, select “FiveM Application Data”
6. select the Data folder
7. In the Data folder, delete the “cache”, “server-cache” and “server-cache-priv” folders.

Now you have completely cleared the FiveM cache from your PC.

To Bind to a keyboard key

• Press "F8"
• type in bind keyboard1 "e smoke"

To unbind -
unbind keyboard1 - replacing the number with what one you need to unbind.

To set a key bind to a numpad

• Press your "F8"
• then type bind keyboard numpad1 "e smoke"

A great place to start if you are new to the city is to head to one of the many car rental locations identified on the map by a green vehicle icon.

When you are ready to purchase a car, head to a dealership. These are shown on the map as by a yellow vehicle icon. Then, you'll need to buy keys from the locksmith which is located on the map with a Key icon - postal 9114.

If you're looking for more of a bespoke job ask around the city at any of the many privately owned businesses or simply reach out on squawk.

You can also apply for PD and EMS. However you are required to be in the city for 2 weeks before applying for PD --  to get a good understanding of the city. With EMS you can start directly. You could even ask to do a ride along and see first hand what they get up to. Please remember in this time you cannot get a criminal record as both PD and EMS require you a clean criminal record.

You will be able to buy a weapon at an Ammunation or YouTool store.

NOTE: To purchase a gun, you'll need to have a weapons license purchased from LSDP. And guns are only available at Ammunation.

To check your pocket inventory use F2 (flex your F2 muscle.) The first 5 inventory slots are also hot keys. What ever you place in slots 1-5, will be used by clicking (flexing) 1-5 on your keyboard. 

If you're not near a bank, use the Bank app on the phone. 

Also, you will find your cash and bank balance on your HUD.
(That can be turned off.)

To give keys to your house

1. Make a copy of your key from your front door.
2. Then type "/hkeys" to open the menu.
3. Then follow the prompts.

The person retains the key until you use the Change Locks function. 

To share a key to your car

1. Both you and the other player must stand next to the vehicle. 
2. Use F3 and then Keys Management. 
3. Select the vehicle.

The person retains the keys ONLY until the next storm. 

you can change your voice proximity and volume by cycling through it using your M key on the keyboard.

If you flip your car, you have to get out and uses you 3rd eye to flip it back over.
